I was stationed at munster bie dieburg..our quarters were in babenhausen kasern..81-86
my dad was stationed there in 59, 61,and 62. He met my mom there in 1961 at The Glass Haus a dance hall. My dad was an MP. It’s such a small world that when I lived in Washington state 15 years ago I had a yard sale. A German lady came. I asked her where she was from she said babenhausen. She told me her parents owned a dancehall called The Glass Haus. She grew up in the apartment above it. I could not believe it I had to run and call my mom on the phone. Now that is a small world cuz we lived up in a little town of 1800 population by Mount St Helens.
I was there 1975-77. D Battery 5/7 ADA

I was there from 2004-2006. The main gate was closed. They had what I would call a side checkpoint area. They had some great eatery/bars right outside the gate. Great times. Miss it! 💯💪🏽
I was there from 71-73 A Battery, 2/5
I was there same battery same time. Small world. Nick name Spider.
I was there with the first 27 th field artillery MLSR battalion in 1987-1989. I loved Germany and the post I was assigned to.
That gate was never used during my time there 81-86, lived in the building to the left of gate. Had a great time especially the guest house directly across the street from that gate. Bravo Battery 2/5 FA then 4/77 FA after Brigade realignment.
I’VE BEEN TO A LOT OF THE KASERNES IN GERMANY, BUT NEVER THIS ONE. LOOKS REAL INTERESTING THOUGH. I LIKE THE GATE GOING INTO THE PLACE, IF THATS WHAT IT IS IN THE TOP PHOTO.
