Hallo ich suche meinen Großvater, der ungefär zur Zeit 1963 in der Kingsley Kaserne in Hof (Saale) war. Mein Großvater ist bereits verstorben und war Amerikaner. Laut meines Vaters war es immer auffällig. er weiß auch leider keine Namen mehr. Aber wir können uns an irgendwas erinnern, wir erinnern uns an den Namen (Hazel/Hasel). Wir wissen nicht, ob das richtig geschrieben ist.

Ssg. Darryl Cullum here, assigned to 162nd Ord. Co under 552nd Group 59th Ord BDE, ’79-82, best years of my service, immer libe deutshland. The Food, Music, People and Duty was amazing, I went back once to visit and many of the people stationed there stayed to live, and of course most of the locals never forgot us and treated us with respect. Muhlenburg Kaserne was the location in Sogel Germany attached to site Lahn, y’all know what that was, pretty serious stuff for sure. Hope to see some of the old heads from Bremerhaven, vilseck Heilbron, pirmasens, Rottenburg, Kaiserslatern, Stuttgart, Garlstadt, there are just too many posts and places to mention, since we performed the DS and GS maint on most special systems in Deutschland. Tchoosss for now.
I was stationed in Schwabach at O’brien barracks from dec 57 to mar 60. Anyone have a photo of the Eistadion (icestadium) night spot. this was the most popular “meetin” place downtown..
Was at herzo base, from 81 to 86. Not far from ferris. 3 of my kids was born in erlanger. SERVICE BTRY 2/377TH LANCE
Some really good photos Dan. I think the Ferris Barracks people are the best. They have more photos on here than any other kaserne. These guys have been sending them in by the hundreds. Love to see the new one’s all the time.

I HAVE NOTICED A BIG DIFFERENCE LATELY ON THE NUMBER OF POSTS ON THESE PAGES.
Ferris Barracks in Erlangen Germany. Best place I was ever stationed while in the Army. Love that place. Spent a lot of time in the EM Club and then later the NCO Club after making SGT. Sometimes the bands weren’t so good, but sometimes they were really good.
