I was in A Btry 2/377 FA from Jun 81 to Jun 82 I was the supply SGT
Did you know Vern Heidenreich? He was the supply sergeant for SVC(Circus🤣) 2/377 around that time. Great supervisor, took a lowly E-1 (I had gotten busted from E-3) and taught me how to be a supply clerk/asst. armorer/do-everything soldier, and in the process, helped me get my SP4 before pcs’ing to Fort Sill(y) in ’84. My actual MOS was 15D10, Lance Crew member, so… he was a real stand-up guy.
I was at Herzo Base from 1/82-4/87 as a brand new 2LT all the way to CPT. I was with 2/377th FA and 210th FA Bde HQ in S1. My new email is hal2059@gmail.com. Drop me a line if you would like. I retired as a MAJ after a tour in Iraq 2004.
