  2. A Btry, 2/59, 6/3 Ada. 1988- 1991. What a time was had at O’Brien barracks. To transition from peace time cold war to operation desert shield/ storm was quite the event. When I got there , there was cav in the back, then got field artillery. I tripped out that sign for A Btry is still up part of museum. A few names from that era, Larry Holman, the crazy man with the pink car. David jones, gave us Intel on what battalion was up to, and how to use that info for us. Sal utano, good guy, no we think he was connected!!! Ken pickert big guy with even bigger heart. Scott Southhall, yep another great guy. Steve Granchie, could get home drunk from anywhere. Tim bernek “squeak”, first got there didn’t make a sound, then we couldn’t shut him up. Tim Schroeder, Wisconsin’s best. Resinos, ball, couldn’t get a better bunch .
